Tommie and Josh's celebration at Botanic Garden Weddings in January was quite extraordinary.

Apart from how it looked (freaking incredible, right Kiera Blanden Events + Styling?), it FELT awesome too. It's so wonderful when a couple is completely at ease and can express themselves with a little self-deprecating humour.

For example in the giving away, we reminded Tommie's parents that she would always need their love, help and guidance on some level. And reminded them of the time when they used to try to drop her off at school and Tommie would hold onto the roof racks of the car in protest.

And in the ring exchange, when they asked me to say:

"Josh and Tommie, these rings will remind you that your marriage, in it’s simplest form, is just a never-ending circle of loving, nagging, dirty dishes and pushing down on the rubbish in the bin until someone finally puts it out."

Aaaaaw, romance!

Tommie, Josh, their adorable little lady, Clementine, and their family and friends had the time of their lives and I was just stoked to be a part of it all.
