If you haven't had the opportunity to see Mandalay House and Garden in action, then you're missing out.

With its stately, French-inspired home nestled in the centre of seemingly endless manicured gardens, criss-crossed with little pathways, it is an unique and constantly surprising venue at every turn.

For Rita and Tom, it provided the perfect backdrop for their elegant, yet relaxed, wedding garden party. Living in the U.K. and trying to coordinate their big day from overseas, they employed the ever-lovely, detail-focussed and experienced Alice Mary Events to bring it all to life for them.

Their ceremony was a joy; filled with laughs and little jokes, tears and knowing smiles. Rita and Tom wanted their ceremony to reflect of their values and love for their families. They asked Rita's sisters to read their couple story and Tom's sister to close the ceremony with "Love" by Roy Croft.

Tom and Rita's personalised wedding vows were heartfelt, but also hinted at the fun and playfulness that they enjoy in their relationship: Tom promised to continue as Rita's personal barista and Rita promised to do ridiculous animal impressions in public, just to make Tom chuckle.

It was truly a privilege to work with and stand beside them on their special day.
