Chris and Steph live and breathe an authentic, genuine life and their wedding day was simply a concentrated dose of that. Almost everything was DIY and they decorated, crafted, created, and baked their way through around 16 months' worth of planning to make the lovely Barristers Block in Woodside their own particular brand of heaven for a day. The result was awesome, as you can see from these beautiful shots from Photography by Michelle Harkness. Enjoy!
Their berry nice, 4 tier naked sponge cake was made by a family friend and they constructed the 'Mr & Mrs Lange' marquee light letters sign themselves.
Steph's stunning Stella York wedding dress was from Jenny & Gerry's Bridal.
It's always great when my couples are referred to me by other friends because it means that there is a better than average chance that we will be on the same page about our core values. They also already understand that I LOVE creating super personalised, relaxed, unique and fun wedding ceremonies. Chris and Steph included all of their parents in the 'giving away' and had a wonderful and lighthearted 'couple's story' which made their guests chuckle.
Chris and Steph hired a few luxe, antique couches for their reception from Vintage Scene Hire to contrast against the rustic Hayshed at Barristers Block. Old school glamour!
Thanks again to Photography by Michelle Harkness for her gorgeous shots.
